The 2014 BC Land Summit was the first interdisciplinary conference organized by the newly formed BC Land Summit Society (BCLSS). The first two interdisciplinary conferences were organized by a partnership of five professional organizations, all of who share ties to land and land-use in British Columbia, and who had agreed to combine their annual conferences into this exciting joint professional development event.  In 2012 this partnership formed the BC Land Summit Society and the original five partners are currently members of the BCLSS.

The 2014 BC Land Summit was built upon the success of the first two BC Land Summit conferences held in 2004, in Vancouver, and 2009 in Whistler. It provided a unique inter-professional opportunity to learn, share ideas, collaborate and network with others working in diverse land-related fields.

The Summit was held in Vancouver, British Columbia, May 14 to 16, 2014. Thank you to everyone who attended and participated!
